The Saramonic SR-M3 is a lightweight and compact condenser microphone with high sound quality designed for use with VDSLR cameras and camcorders. Using an external microphone significantly improves the recorded sound over the camera’s built-in microphone. The carioid directional characteristic of the SR-M3 allows you to isolate ambient noise. A microphone with such a characteristic is an ideal tool in situations where precise reception of a single sound source is required in a noisy environment. The Saramonic SR-M3 is equipped with a high-pass filter, which, when activated, eliminates low-frequency sounds that cause interference. The quality of the recorded sound is also influenced by the wind shield protecting the microphone dome. The microphone’s small size makes it extremely handy and convenient in use. It is perfect both for travelling and everyday use. SR-M3 is equipped with a headphone output for listening to the recorded material in real time and an additional mini Jack input for connecting an additional microphone. The device can be mounted on a camera or camcorder via a cold shoe compatible with standard flash sockets. The built-in 1/4″ tripod mount allows the microphone to be attached to tripods, booms and other photographic mounts. The microphone mount is equipped with a system which suppresses vibrations caused by camera movements. The connection of the microphone with the recording device is realised by means of a built-in mini Jack cable.
